A gorgeous island, a mermaid in disguise, a backpack, and three days in July 2016. Cebu was the first place I explored solo and I loved every part of it! I have met a handful of kind and generous people, seen different shades of green and blue, visited significant establishments, and found solace in nature. I’ve always fancied traveling alone and I was in awe when it finally happened. I truly enjoyed my own company and learned more about myself. Since then, I made a pact to wander around this world in solitude at least once a year, accompanied only by my shadow and soul.
